Las Ventas Museum

Madrid

Lighting in a museum is not just a matter of aesthetics; it plays a crucial role in how visitors perceive and appreciate works of art. The correct choice and placement of LED spotlights is essential to highlight the exhibits while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Below are the key aspects to consider in order to properly light a museum:

LED spotlights are a popular choice for museums due to their energy advantages and durability. Unlike traditional bulbs, LEDs are more energy efficient and have a longer lifespan, reducing the need for frequent maintenance and operating costs. In addition, LEDs provide a superior quality of light that can enhance the colours and details of artwork without distorting them.

Luminaire placement is crucial to ensure that the entire exhibition area is well lit. Track spotlights allow exceptional flexibility in the direction and focus of the light. This is especially useful in museums, where the lighting may need to be adjusted according to the exhibits and the layout of the space. The light must be evenly distributed to avoid shadows that can make it difficult to see the works and to ensure that visitors can appreciate every detail clearly.

Light intensity is another important factor in museum lighting. The light must be bright enough to highlight the works of art without causing glare or eye fatigue for visitors. The use of track spotlights with intensity control allows the brightness to be adjusted according to the specific needs of each exhibition, ensuring that the works are optimally presented. This control is also essential to protect light-sensitive pieces, preventing damage from prolonged exposure to high intensities.

The installation of track spotlights at Museo Las Ventas has brought several significant benefits. First, the ability to precisely adjust and focus the light has enabled customised lighting for each exhibition, improving visibility and appreciation of the artworks. Second, the LED technology used in these floodlights has contributed to reduced operating costs and less frequent maintenance, which has optimised the overall operation of the museum.

The lighting project for the Museo de Las Ventas in Madrid demonstrates how careful planning and the right choice of technology can transform the visitor experience. By implementing track spotlights with LED spotlights, the museum has not only improved the quality of the lighting, but also created an environment that enhances the works of art and offers a more enriching and professional visitor experience. This approach ensures that the exhibitions are presented in an optimal way, respecting both the integrity of the pieces and the satisfaction of the public.

Santiago de Compostela: Optics

Santiago de Compostela

The first step in this project was to carry out a detailed assessment of the space. The optics, receiving very little natural light, required a lighting solution that would not only increase the overall brightness, but also create a welcoming and professional atmosphere. With this goal in mind, we designed a lighting plan that combined different types of luminaires to maximise the effectiveness and aesthetics of the space.

To address the need for increased brightness, we installed new luminaires in the ceiling that provide uniform illumination throughout the optic. These luminaires were selected for their ability to provide bright, clear light without creating glare, which is crucial in an environment where visual accuracy is essential. In addition, to add more detailed focus and highlight key areas, such as the reception desk and display cases, we installed CLF-090 floodlights. These projectors not only enhance product presentation, but also guide customers' attention to important areas, improving the shopping experience.

The result of this project has been extremely positive. The optical space is now perceived as much more open and welcoming, which has not only improved customer satisfaction, but also the working environment for the staff. The combination of the ceiling luminaires with the CLF-090 floodlights has created a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics, allowing each area of the optician's to be well lit and visually appealing.

The new lighting has had a significant impact on the overall experience within the optician's shop. Customers now enjoy a space where they can clearly see products, and staff work in an environment that makes their daily work easier, reducing eyestrain and increasing efficiency. The atmosphere created by the new lighting also helps to project an image of professionalism and modernity, key aspects of any business that wants to stand out in today's market.

The lighting project at this optician's in Santiago de Compostela is an excellent example of how a well-designed lighting solution can transform a space. By combining ceiling luminaires with CLF-090 floodlights, we have managed to create an environment that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. This project has not only improved the quality of the lighting, but has also optimised the customer experience and the working environment, contributing to the overall success of the optician's shop. We are proud to have played a key role in creating a more comfortable and attractive space for everyone.

Infinity Workshops

Madrid

For the lighting project of the Infinity Offices in Madrid, a combination of suspended linear luminaires and track spotlights was implemented. This strategy was designed to provide both efficient task lighting and pleasant ambient lighting. The suspended linear luminaires were used to provide uniform general lighting, which eliminates shadows and creates a welcoming ambience throughout the space.

The track spotlights were strategically placed to highlight key areas within the office, such as specific work zones, meeting rooms and reception areas. These projectors allow for great flexibility, as their direction can be adjusted to focus light on different areas as required. This not only improves the functionality of the space, but also adds a design element that enhances the aesthetics of the office.

The choice of LED luminaires for this project was key to ensuring optimal energy efficiency and long-term durability. Not only do LED luminaires consume less energy, resulting in significant savings in operating costs, but they also have a longer life span, reducing the need for frequent maintenance and replacement. In addition, LED luminaires offer a superior quality of light, with shade options ranging from warm to cool light, allowing the lighting to be tailored to the desired ambience.

The distribution of lighting in an office is as important as the choice of luminaires. In the Infinity Offices, special attention was paid to the positioning of the luminaires to ensure an even distribution of light throughout the space. This ensures that there are no dark or poorly lit areas, which could negatively affect the productivity and well-being of employees. In addition, consideration was given to the balance between work lighting and ambient lighting, creating an environment that is both functional and comfortable.

The lighting project at the Infinity Offices has been a resounding success. The combination of suspended linear luminaires and track spotlights has not only improved the functionality of the space, but also elevated the overall aesthetics of the office. The result is a working environment that impresses employees and visitors alike, offering a space that is both professional and welcoming. Employees now enjoy a better-lit work environment, which has contributed to an increase in morale and productivity.

If you are looking to transform your office and create an environment that reflects professionalism and comfort, a well-designed lighting project is key. The implementation of suspended linear luminaires and track spotlights, as in the project carried out for Infinity Offices in Madrid, demonstrates how the right lighting planning can make a big difference. Not only will it enhance the daily experience for employees, but it will also leave a lasting impression on customers and visitors. Church of Carmen

Torrelodones

At Celux Iluminación, we were honoured to have been selected to carry out this lighting project at the Iglesia del Carmen. Our approach focused on designing a solution that not only met the practical lighting needs, but also respected and enhanced the historic architecture of the building. To this end, we opted for the use of track spotlights, a versatile and modern solution that allows the most important architectural elements to be highlighted while providing uniform and pleasant illumination throughout the space.

The main objective of this project was to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that would reflect the spiritual and communal character of the Carmelite Church. The new lighting had to be able to enhance the architectural features of the building, such as the arches, vaults and ornamental details, without detracting from the liturgical and ceremonial events taking place inside. In addition, a solution was sought that would be energy-efficient, durable and capable of integrating harmoniously with the existing design.

The project To meet these objectives, our team of lighting experts designed a system based on track spotlights. These floodlights offer great flexibility, as they allow the direction and focus of the light to be adjusted according to the specific needs of each space within the church. This adjustability is particularly useful in an environment such as a church, where the lighting needs to adapt to different uses and times of day.

The LED track spotlights used in this project provide powerful but soft lighting, capable of highlighting architectural details without causing glare or interfering with the natural light coming through the church's windows and stained glass. In addition, LED technology ensures greater durability and low energy consumption, contributing to the long-term sustainability of the church.

The result of this project is interior lighting that completely transforms the atmosphere of the Iglesia del Carmen, making the space feel warmer and more welcoming. The track spotlights not only enhance the majesty of the building's neoclassical architecture, but also create an atmosphere that invites reflection and prayer. This combination of aesthetics and functionality is key to ensuring that the church remains a special place for the Torrelodones community.

In addition, the energy efficiency of the LED lighting implemented significantly reduces the operating costs of the church, which is an additional benefit to the local community. The durability of the track spotlights also means that the church will not have to worry about replacing the luminaires frequently, ensuring that the new lighting system will continue to perform optimally for many years to come.

We are proud to have contributed to the renovation of the Iglesia del Carmen in Torrelodones with a lighting project that not only meets the technical and aesthetic requirements, but also respects and enhances the history and spirituality of the site. If you are looking to transform the lighting of a religious or architectural space, at Celux Iluminación we are ready to offer you innovative and customised solutions to suit your needs.

Brussels: Bicycle Shop

Bruselas

In the vibrant city of Brussels, where cycling is a passion shared by many, we were presented with the exciting opportunity to design the lighting system for a new bike shop located in one of the busiest areas of the city. This lighting project was developed with a specific focus on the needs of the space and how to maximise the visibility and appeal of the products on display, while creating a welcoming and modern environment that invites customers to explore every corner of the shop.

To meet these objectives, our design team focused on implementing a lighting system that combined decorative wall sconces and track spotlights. The wall sconces not only provide soft, ambient lighting, but also add an aesthetic touch that complements the industrial and modern style of the shop. Strategically placed, these wall sconces help to create zones of light and shadow that add depth to the space, highlighting architectural elements and adding additional visual interest.

The track spotlights, on the other hand, were used to ensure precise spot lighting in key areas of the shop, such as the bike and accessory displays. These spotlights allow specific products to be highlighted, drawing customers' attention to the most prominent bikes and equipment. In addition, the flexibility of the track spotlights allows the direction of light to be adjusted as required, which is ideal for a constantly changing retail environment such as a bike shop where displays may rotate frequently.

A crucial aspect of this project was the need to create a bright and welcoming space that could stand out in such a dynamic urban environment as Brussels. The shop is located in a high-traffic area, so it was essential that the interior of the shop was not only visible from the outside, but also attractive to passers-by. The combination of decorative wall lights and spotlights not only improves visibility, but also creates an ambience that invites customers to enter and explore, thus increasing the chances of conversion and sales.

The end result of this project is a retail space that is both functional and visually striking. The Brussels bike shop not only benefits from efficient and adaptable lighting, but also features an aesthetic design that reinforces the brand image and enhances the shopping experience for customers. We firmly believe that this lighting design will help the shop stand out in the competitive Brussels market, attracting cyclists and sports enthusiasts from far and wide.

If you are interested in learning more about this project or if you have a shop that needs a lighting redesign to improve its appeal and functionality, please do not hesitate to contact us. At CELUX, we specialise in creating custom lighting solutions that not only meet the specific needs of your space, but also enhance your business by providing an exceptional shopping experience.
